The better night than 1000 months
The Holy Month Ramadan Last Asharah
One of the best things in Islam is that Allah (ﷻ) gives us the month of Ramadan, which is so many special things in this month. Where every good deed no matter how big or small gets multiplied seventy times rewarded during this Holy month of Ramadan. While fasting, Every prayer, every Telawat, every charity, and all good deeds will be accepted with multiplied seventy times rewarded in Allah’s side.
The Holy month of Ramadan is full of blessings, mercy, and forgiveness. It’s the best opportunity for all the Muslims to collect more blessings (Rahmah) of Allah and pray for their forgiveness (Maghfirah) and to be saved from the Hellfire (Protection from the Hellfire).
“It (Ramadhan) is the month, whose beginning is mercy, its middle, forgiveness and its end, emancipation from the fire.” (of hell) — Bihar al-Anwar, Vol.: 93, Pg.: 342
Also from this most beautiful month, in the last 10 days of Ramadan, Allah (ﷻ) gives us Laylatul Qadr, the most blessed night which is better than 1000 months. It is even mentioned it in the holy Qur’an in one specific Surah Al-Qadr 1-5. So there is no doubt about how special this moment of Laylatul Qadr.
And narrated by Aisha (may Allāh be pleased with her),
With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to tighten his waist belt and used to pray the whole night, and used to keep his family awake for the prayers. [Bukhari]
In other Hadith, Abu Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) relates that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Whoever stands (in the voluntary night prayer of) Ramadan out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. And whoever spends the night of Lailat Al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” [Sunan an-Nasa’i]
All of that narrates, and even the ayah from surah Al-Qadr is the proof, how the Laylatul Qadr is definitely so special and so important for us to attain. That we have no reason to waste it, we will very losses if we missed it and not doing our best to afford it.
The dua of the last 10 nights:
اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ ، تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي. O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me.” [At-Tirmidhi].
May Allah let us reach the night of Laylatul Qadr, bless us and our families and forgives our sins.
